Hi, I’m Morgan.
My day-to-day reporting currently focuses on New York City politics, crime and feature stories. Over the years, my work has taken me everywhere from shootings and mass overdoses to ICE ride-alongs and the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. I also spent years extensively covering Baltimore city and Maryland state politics, including the 90-day legislative session.
I’ve turned daily stories, long-form projects and natural sound packages, often simultaneously and always under tight deadlines. I was also the lead photojournalist and editor for Fox45 News In Depth With Mikenzie Frost, a weekly investigative show launched in 2024.
My work has earned multiple regional Edward R. Murrow Awards and NPPA Quarterly Clip Contest placements. I also received two Capital Emmy awards, with 10 total nominations.
As a retired dancer, I’m always drawn to performers’ stories and thrive in creative spaces.
My photog guilty pleasure is a complicated timeline. The more audio tracks the better. Outside the edit bay, I’m a lover of postmodern dance, New Jersey and soup recipes.
